Construction: Update
So far, this is the shots of the music video that we have put together, the video shows the beginning, though we're not certain of adding another scene into the music or before it, and also at around 43 seconds the sequence ends and shows other scenes we had completed filming for but should come later in the song.
We have all but 2 sets of filming left to do, the performance scene which we had some issues with but seem to have resolved, I will go into more detail about this in another post after refilming.
We also have to reshoot the fighting/breakup scene as the way we filmed it included a mirror behind one of the actors and we aren't sure of how it looks, and the angle we decided to film at meant that the light from the window, though we shut the blinds was behind the actors creating a dull image.
By the end of next week we should have ALL of the shots finished and it will just be a case of fitting them together.
Production Schedule 14th-20th
This week because of exams we will find it difficult to find time to film, however the weekend seems the perfect time because all the people we need will be free on Sunday.
Therefore on Sunday we will be filming:
Scene 1: Break up.
Scene 11: Big Bad Wolf.
Scene 13: Mirror Mirror.
For these scenes characters will need every day clothing and also their flash back costumes as the first scene is a current day and the others are memories.
In addition to this I need to use a wolf mask.

This week.
This week there are numorous things that need to be done to work on the project, specifically the ancillary tasks.
I need to continue research I have been doing and document by scanning the digipaks I have found at home and wish to use as analysis.
I also need to look at the corresponding advertisements / posters for the same albums as I can then look into the way they are linked and similar, and also find the differences I need to include.
For the production work we need to make a new time table for this month and next in which all of the filming needs to be completed.

AFL: Blog Reflection
Within the class I have had another person look at my blog, to see what works and what doesn't, what I was told was that the multimedia aspect of my blog was good, however the number of posts I had were limited, this is probably because rather than update with small posts I save things up and make them into one long post.
We also looked at the criteria needed for research and planning, and looking at the Level 4 section, to make my research and planning up to that standard I need to:
We also looked at the criteria needed for research and planning, and looking at the Level 4 section, to make my research and planning up to that standard I need to:
- Have some more research into my potential target audience
- Show the storyboard in still form
- Possibly add more research into existing products
- Research my responsibilties and explain how I am completing them more clearly.
Directors Edit Scenes two and three.
As soon as we finished filming all the shots for each scene I have been quickly editing them together so that I can see how they link and make sure that we don't need to refilm.

Video Blog 1- Scene 2.
On Tuesday we did the first shoot for the music video. We filmed in Old George Yard which is just off High Bridge Street in Newcastle.
Above is a video blog of my thoughts on the experience. I plan to do these for every shoot we do.
We filmed up the stairs where the arrow points, I also labelled the shop as Retro as that it what it now is.
