My target audience would be around age 15 - 25/30 females. This is because for the most part the pop genre is supported by females, and although the vast majority of those girls are younger there are still many fans of pop who are above the age of 15. So I wanted to base my magazine at a higher age group as there is a gap in the market for older teen/ adult pop magazines.
However there are audiences other than the target one who would possibly buy my magazine. There will obviously be men who enjoy pop magazine, who although my magazine is definitely a female targeted magazine would still be interested.
Also younger girls who are prone to buying such magazine as Top of the Pops and the like may also be interested in this, as it still has the same genre and the celebrities they like in it.
