Digital technology has allowed streaming of moving images - trailers, interviews, excerpts etc. It also means flash technology can be used for games ets. All of these (and other features such as print interviews, stills, publicity photos, posters, adverts for soundtracks and other merchandise) can be found on websites, which act as 'hubs'. These websites may also include any games, competitions etc to help the viewer interact with the site and give them a feeling of ownership which might make them go and see the film. Let's not forget links to social network sites? What about phone technology? How do you get trailers on phones?
You also need to be more specific wnen talking about the use of synergy for Spider-Man.
